I took this picture from Mont Royal (wow was it good to see a mountain again). Hopefully it will give you all a vague idea of what Montreal looks like :-). it was so cold, about -15 degrees on a good day, and at night it would get to -30 regularly. The first few nights I was there I went out with others from the hostel to explore the various entertainments (theres a club there with a pit! which sadly I didn't get to) but the cold was too much for me for the last few days I was always back at the hostel by 11 (but then the hostel was full of travellers and had an in-house bar). |
