For MissA
"Our Lady of Knock" rosary hand made in Ireland probably pewter with glass beads
About 2 feet on length (it is about as long as any you will see)
The celtic cross/crucifix is almost 2" long
I bought this a long while ago from a missionary society that sells them to raise money. I think I paid about $75 for it; it had been imported by them from Ireland.
This IS an epensive one. I "collect" them, I have several pretty ones that were below $30.
Traditionally nuns in convents made rosaries to raise money, but anyone can make them.
I have made about 1/2 dozen in this style. They can also be made as "strung beads" - I'll try to find a picture since I can't find mine!!!
Instructions on praying the "traditional" Rosary (which also shows you how they are constructed!)
