This is an alms box , a box placed in sides of the streets which people can shed their alms ( only money ) in . ( I dont know whether other countries use something like it or not , maybe the visitors of this page can help me in this field )
In this pic you can see that this alms box has been tied to a pole with a chain because in past , it has been stolen by thieves times and times ! |
