My prayer today:
"Come, Holy Spirit, Creator blest!
From thy bright heavenly throne!
Come, take possession of our souls,
And make them all Thine Own.
"O guide our minds with thy blessed light,
With love our hearts inflame,
And with thy strength, which ne'er decays,
Confirm our mortal frame.
"Through Thee may we the Father know,
Through Thee the Eternal Son,
And Thee the Spirit of them both

We pray to the Lord.
For all of those beset by evil and harm,
we pray to the Lord.
For all who are sick and alone,
We pray to the Lord.
For all who feel lost and far from home,
We pray to the Lord.
Father, all powerful and ever-living God,
We do well always to give You thanks and praise
through Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Bring Your lost children to You,
show us Your love and mercy.
For You 'are close to the broken-hearted,
the crushed in spirit You save.'
With You, we can come to no harm.
We ask this through your Son, Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
One God,
