Koh Samui in Thailand 2003, cuddling a little monkey on the beach - it was only later that I discovered how these poor creatures are used by tourist touts. Once the monkey's cuteness wanes, they kill the poor thing off. So don't hug the monkeys, no matter how cute! Best to boycott the entire business. |
