Fellow lovers of rock,
We are very excited to be playing a show this Saturday, January 15, with two ridiculously good musical entities. Mark Schwaber (Hospital, Lo Fine, Spouse, and owner of Night Owl Records) will open the evening with a solo set. Mark's new solo record kicks butt and I hope you'll check him out on garageband.com or cdbaby.com.
Our band, National Carpet, follows with some new originals and we may or may not wear pants. Kidding. AND it's our guitar player Johnny Vodka's birthday to boot! Yippeee!
New Radiant Storm King, perhaps the most amazing indie rock force alive, will rock out the evening with their set, leaving everyone in their path begging for more. The storm king is quite simply an amazing band. They have multiple killer records, and you can find them on pitchfork.com and nokarma.com and via google. Check them out online, and come out to see the show. You won't want to miss this one.
The Brass Cat is one of the coolest bars around, located on Cottage St. in Easthampton, MA. The cover is a wee $3 bucks, and we think you'll have a very good time. Hope to see you all there! j.j. |
