If you were in Chicago in the sixties or seventies then maybe you visited the Earl of Old Town. A place that you could sit and drink and listen to folk music. Most of the music was anti war, Love it. I never was on drugs of any kind, but some OK most of the patrons were. The great smell of weed you could not mistake. I just smoked big cigars and drank cold beer. Woke up with several headache's. Oh was it good to be young. Have not had a beer in several years. And stopped smoking over 5 years ago, can taste that cigar now. I think I'll go get a six pack of Old Style and listen to some Woody Guthrie and Steve Goodman |
