More on the U2 theme:
When Dublin decided to "rejuvenate" the Docklands of Dublin, U2's headquarters, an historic, beautiful, restored-by-them Georgian warehouse, was to be torn down.
This is what is to replace it, including two floor of the tower for their new studio.
This has been several years in the planning!
This design won the bid two years ago, I think. The Dublin Docklands Authority included U2's bass player Adam Clayton on the selection team! Pretty classy of the town (U2 was awarded the "freedom of Dublin" a few years back, I guess they meant it!:D)!
U2 still mourns their old "home" . . until they get used to the new one, I suppose!
