THE WATER CAME BACK!
If you look closely you may be able to see the muddy (dried now) flattened grass on the far bank from after the hailstorm - the water came within one or two fet of flooding but that was as high as it ever got.
Taken behind our garage BTW.
OH and the insurance bought us a NEW ROOF! (It was STILL leaking even after the new roof was put on!) It actually just needs repair but the adjuster said he would put in for the whole thing.
Inetresting note, he flew in from LA to do just hail claims, apparently he does that often; covers the entire western state! He likes SD. Great way to commute, eh? (he works in LA too)
