Derrick took these shots of baby birds in a nest in a clever hole under one of the eaves.
That was between bouts with the electrical panel and the plumbing!
Ed and Derrick deserve a VACATION! Poor guys . . .
The electricl panel has been declared "officially" (by the electrical co-op) defunct, so they (Ed and Derrick) jerry-rigged it somehow JUST NOW to keep the AC and minimal power going. They also have to leave the panel open so it does not overheat - it's on the southwest side of the house and gets sun all day - today was supposed to be 76, it's already above that.
NEW projected high is 91 degrees!
