on friday we got mabel groomed - a wash, cut, blowdry - the works.
i had never heard about subjecting a kitty to these kinds of things but she really needed professional help to deal with some of her "problem areas."
when i picked her up and she looked very tidy and smelled like salon selectives hairspray i used in junior high. unnaturally fruity.
when i brought her home theo was freaking out. he has been meowing and running around and hissing at her for the last 3 days. i guess maybe they washed away all of her special stinky mabel essence.
he has finally chilled out a little bit, hopefully ending the kitty standoff. tense times here at the homestead. |
