Approach to dock on Georges Island (Boston Harbor)with Fort Warren in background. The brick building was once used to store and maintain the mines that defended the harbor. Today, it serves as office space, maintenance space, a snack bar, and dormitories for the rangers who stay on the island. If you look very carefully, you can see Eyesbaby and the kids waving to me from the dock. (Also, please forgive the overlapping images -- this was the last shot on the roll.) |
