My cats (well atleast TWO) can swim and I do give them baths if they get groddy (how does one spell that?). . . they don't have to rescue me from a pool, I don't have one, and if I did we couldn't fill it (ater emergency rationg - verrrry strict). We need a well. I WANT a pool for TIa. My fave water dog was a McNab shepherd (look it up!) my dad had. Fantastic swimmer, my dad took her tio a river eberrry day. Loved that dog. One cat of mine rescued me - my electric blanket caught fire and she woke me up and I put it out. Why the competition? Cats are cats, dogs are dogs, and I love them BOTH. I know, I know, you love to harass Petie./ Ed wears a 7 wider, whatever size that is. He does best with lace-ups, so do I, 'cos then we can customize the instep fit. I wear a women's ~7 wide (how wide? depends on the shoe) from walking barefoot most of my life - my feet spread (see my album :D). I have trouble getting good fitting shoes 'cos of that - these da

Melys loves to swim also.We take her to Grout Pond in Vermont and throw a stick or a rubber ring(from the Pet Store) and she can be busy for 1-2 hrs. Love Rusty's expression..excellent catch!
