camerashy Hi Roger, yes and other bugs too. My Grandmother, the farmer, always planted Marigolds around her flower and veg. gardens to keep the bugs away!
DonnaW I'll have to remember that. Great idea
thebillies pretty marigold's. It was warm when I took that shot. Today is a little more nippy but at a guess it was about 55 F yesterday, maybe warmer in the sun. It was a taste of summer to come. ;)

MIKEDONAHUE GOOD MORNING ROGER, PEOPLE DON’T BELIEVE YOUR DREAM COULD HAPPEN BUT WE LIVE IN A VERY FRADGEL WORLD, THERE ARE A LOT OF COUNTRIES THAT WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE U.S. COLLAPSE IF THAT WERE TO HAPPEN THE REST OF THE WORLDS ECONOMY WOULD FOLLOW

tanddjohnson You Mom always planted marigolds for that same reason. But she just loved all flowers.
celticvoice Jacque is correct. I have found that the black crickets here love to EAT them, to my dismay! The "Square Foot Gardener" (Mel) uses marigolds like Jacque's grandmother did. . .
