jvoves i can hardly guess, looks like golden hershey kisses wrappers to me :)
hmmmm.
rokstar it looks like the gold leaf stuff you can buy for embossing, but then again, it could be wrapping paper.
macwagen naw...the steel industry is pretty much dead here now. i think there's one operational facility in duquesne, but I'm not even sure about that.
titawheeler kisses wrappers papers to me too =)

jjohnson kittens??? no, that's not it. : ) hey, you should get a little something from me in the mail late next week. when you do, perhaps you can do a photo shoot? : )
jadewolf9977 Not sure, but it's cool, whatever it is.
tanddjohnson I know - I know - I know
xlime gold aspen leaves from the tree in the thumbnail below?
rdale1 ROCKSTAR WAS CLOSE. IT IS RAW LEAF GOLD FOUND IN A STREAM BED IN ALASKA.
duncan How does it get in that form. I've only seen nuggets and alluvial.
neene yes please
rdale1 Most gold is or was brought to the surface in volcanos. The molten gold seeped into wafer thin cracks in the rocks and cooled. When water wears the rock away the gold can be flaked of the bottom off stream beds. As I understand it.
rokstar very very cool find you have there. rock on, i'm good. (at least today.)
