		Pro_Keds	like golf, the debate was handicapped. of course DC is far more of a brilliant mastermind, he's been running the country for 4 years. JE was an excitable rookie, and it showed. but he communicated, i think, to those who would get baffled by substantive arguements. DC's closing statement was like watching him pass a kidney stone - you can tell his distaste for being underwhelming and simplistic. for pure intellecutal drama, i'd like to see DC and THeinz debate!!!

		designfarm	yeah, I know meadows, but from New York. you guys hang? I do live in Mass now, and his sister lives nearby-ish. Meadows is a great guy. We drank some beers and I kicked his but at darts and we shot some pool and threw some baseballs and stuff when I lived in the city.. I used to live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I'm also good friends with meadows' good friend "vodka_357" who's in my nascent rock band, National Carpet.
		jjohnson	i like the carter family, and johnny cash, and that stuff. i have a decent bluegrass collection, and that's the music I grew up with, though my band is a garage rock sound. My grandfather a coal miner and later minister, taught me a few chords...bluegrass stuff. I dig The Shins, The Wrens (get their record Meadowlands!), and Dylan and Neil Young, and some Pavement and Silver Jews, and Built to Spill, and Aimee Mann, and The Pixies, who I'm going to see soon. Just saw Wilco. pretty good show.
			Oh my god, this is reading like a jay johnson/meadows love fest. Yeah well I know both, but the picture above is what I see...I just want to roll my body along that wood, make love to it, become one with it--but only in the way that Ribena has magicly turned it into a sensual object--so johnson, run, run, away...Now I'll have to wait until the morning to view this again fresh because johnson and meadows faces are pooping up and ruining the whole experience. UHHHHH
