		celticvoice	Wow that is strange, the retirement party - My stepdad is retired at only 61 (he was much younger than my mom who would have been 75 this year, my dad 87) and my bro Keith's friend Mark 9(he painter in Aptos) is also at 60. I am sure some of my ex-school friends are grandparents by now, weird! My oldest friend (since I was 13 - Maria from my Flickr album?) has a kid in college who could nbe a mama at her age but is a student instead. My stepdad said itdid feel weird to go thru retirement but as a dedicated artist/classical-jazz-"freestyle" guitarist (among many things) he has hit his stride and loves it after almost two years now.
