When I was there (1974) The Seine was rather foul - we took a boat ride - but I loved being on the "Isle" where Notre Dame is - I walked in and there was an organist practicing - WOW! Some parts of Paris whee not fun . . . I spent most of my time in The Louvre. Someday w'll go and see the countryside instead!
