celticvoice This is great! Love it! Is getting up early and going to the *ugh* new library easier yet?
celticvoice Aw GEEZ! I fergot to mention - late next year Ed wants (and this is now a probability instead of a pipe dream - it will even be a business trip!!) to go to England (YAY! wish he could take more than 2 weeks at a time off, but that's the hospital fer ya) . . . and stop Noo Yawk on the way for a few daze, he's never been! I have, of course! I HATE flying too, but this will be worth it. Wanna hook up? I promise not to "talk God"! LOL!!! ;D I would love to visit the Ess Eff I visited for years then lived in for 15 more years, but it's not there so I am "carrying [it] around in my dreams" ::chuckle::
celticvoice been to Manhattan several times, a few weeks w/ a friend in 1976, on biz in 80's to Fift' Avenooo. Stayed at Leona's (nice hotel, nasty lady), paid for by lawfirm client, ick. Ed has never been there and wants to "do the town" so to speak (the good stuff). He's heard me talk about The Cloisters and other museums, book stores, walking around Manhattan, subways vs busses, double parking on streetsweeping daze, Yankee Stadium (well, they were playing the ATHLETICS!, who won), taxi drivers that don't know Noo Yawk (it was his first day!), gabby waitresses and surly store owners, yadda yadda. I have never "done" Central Park, dunno why. Wanted to!
