WOW! Sos what are you using that gives you a 48x zoom? Wonderful shots! I wish we had some birds, but it's been too cold - 15 the otehr night. TODAY is in the 50's. BIG snafu, insurance will NOT issue check for Boss, have to go to the SD Insurance Reg people, agent is furious, Ed is madly (but he's a genius at it) investing to maken $$ for opayments on the horse(s); breeder is very patient, we are buying Bailey outright next week (they need to get him sold and GONE - hay shoratges again this year) (I SAID Ed is a genius!) and putting a "down" on Malachite next weekend . . .

Donna try a animal shelter, they have wonderful pets to adopt and I am sure you will find one who will take your heart.

LOL re the shakes - I ahve 'em sometimes! My cam has the BEST "steadycam" - can do very long hand helds . . . what memeory does your cam use and does it do rapid fire shots? We're idly looking for another cam, love ours but the CD has no buffer memory (so stoopid a design, biggest flaw in the cam) so the always slow digicam shutter release is superr sllloooowww. FLu semms to be almost gone, I can almost TYPE! ;D

The last shot I posted was of the dam at Fontana Lake in Western North Carolina. It is some of the most beautiful area that I have ever been in. We got some snow this week but not enough to stick to the ground. My family is wanting to go snow skiing. We used to ski at Timberline. They all love it but I gave it up. I was never very good at it anyway. Have a great day.

Nice and close. Maybe put a few seeds in front of a camera, and release the shutter by remote control?

Nicely done!
