One of the "pioneering" families to help build Rapid CIty is the Duhamel family; their family collection of historical stuff is a major exhibit in the local museum. Their descendants own a TV station, AM radio (first one to start here) and about 4 FM radio stations. The broadcasting company is up for sale - what is RC without the Duhamels????
