That is great that you are into your family history. I started about 15 years ago. I just wish I had started before so many of my relatives had passed on, I would have known much more.

My mom was born in 1928, dad in 1920 . . . I have an aunt by marriage I just found out about in April?, she uses www.ancestry.com a lot - they ahve amazing stuff on there. She says she's an "amuteur geneologist" but she sure gets results! She found ME by googling googling googling until she found my STEPDAD! The kicker is she divorced my uncle (my dad's long-lost and unknown to me half-brother) several years back! Nice lady. We never met because HE said "NO!" every tie she asked- they lived just a few miles away all those years . . . but I have two cousins (my age, one a flautist too, the other namesd Diana!) whom I never got to meet!

My grandmother on my dad's side I now know a lot more about; my Uncle Mick on my mom's side is doing the same but he hasn't shared yet. What a story, and a hard life! So nice that she knew how to love and could pass it on to YOU! I never met my mom's mother, she died sudenly in 1949 two days after my eldest bro was born . . . mom's dad died of a heart attack in 1946 in Worcester, MA where she was born and raised . ..

I think this is the first time I have seen this picture. Alot of interesting facts and history Roger. Wish I knew more about the Davis family history before so many died off.
