Example from the book: when the U.S. constitution was written, you had to be worth $20,000 to vote. $100,000 to run for public office. Of course Blacks, slaves, women, Indians and indentured servants had no right to vote.
		rdale1	The last increase in minimum wage was 1997. Since then congress has voted itself $32,000 in wage increases. I know. I live, ....I mean survive on social security disability.
