celticvoice WOW is that a cute pup! Happy FFriday! I just got a HUGE package from my Aunt Nancy (was married to my dad's half-bro) and WOW! Among others I am related to William Bambridge, who was in Mutiny on the Bounty (the lark Gable one!). My dad was born in Sydney and came over to the US at two years via Papeete, Tahiti with his birth father and his mother . . . fascinating! We may be descended frpom UK convicts sent to "VanDiemen's Land"!!!! I'll scan some way neat photos and post 'em!.

celticvoice When Missy says "JD her brother" is that JJ or an bro-in-law or ???
celticvoice Thanks, I wondered. Am praying for them.
FocalAnLae me new album is up and runing! THANKS for the name!
celticvoice Thanks for the update on that, ROger. I heard April was the bloodiest ever for Baghdad, I think they meant all casualties.
celticvoice Amen re the deaths in Iraq. I grew up with Vietnam, many a man who might have been a husband foer someone my age died in that illegal atrocity. My bros friend Mark avoided going to VietNam by the skin of his teeth - he was in the Air Force at the time and loved it, (it was my ad who advised him to try it) but he (and my dad) in NO way wanted anything to do with that mess . . .
celticvoice ... another fellow who was the brother of a fellow I dated for six years was over there as a draftee - a Meztizo-Filipino draftee. He was savvy and did well and could have gotten s position elsewhere after boot camp, but no, he went "with his brothers" into the infantry and right on the front lines. He barely escaped intact- inside I mean.
celticvoice PS: Mestizo is not Mexican but a half-"Indian from mexico" -in this case a Yacqui man - and pure Spanish - his grandmother was from Spain. He wrote two great books - "La Maravilla", about those grandparents, and "Gods Go Begging" a mystery novel that is also semi-autobiographical about his time in VietNam overlapped with his time as a Public Defender in San Francisco. He wrote a third book I haven't read yet. All on Amazon.
celticvoice The "People of the Gaps" quote I put up once was from "La Maravilla".
celticvoice PPS yer cute when ya blush . . . ;D
celticvoice Evenin' sir, is your evenin' as nice as ours?
DonnaW Good Morning Roger, Hope you have a nice day. It is cloudy here and cool. 40 degrees
