Hi r, Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. Hope you had a nice visit there in Palisade. You asked about the fractional/decimal road naming thing. The best I've been able to determine is that this county, Mesa, chose that method to name all the N/S routes. In other words, you were 38.8 miles from Utah at this road.
