			ABALONE!!!! My brothers used to pick them up from the fisherman, back when there were fisherman . . . I was amazed to find that the natives HERE know about abalone shells and have for many many hundreds of years! they use them to burn their native incense (for prayer) in! They traded for them! Amazing - because they came from the Pacific Coast! They also use the mother of pearl for decorative things!
