Beautiful Chelsea! A wonderful picture of your wonder dog.
It's wonderful but they are trying to close us in . . . I only take pictures to the south and east where it is still wide open. If our AFB closes, things will stay opem. If it doesn't close, but who knows? We have only 2 acres rented, but there are HUNDREDS of open acres in those photos, wonderful, yes! So we are keeping our eyes open for moving options. But this California Coastal Kid still misses her ocean . . . ::sighhhh::: (Born and raised in the Bay Area) I just could not afford it any

I have three dogs now and have had many dogs in my life. Each one brings love to us. I miss very much the dogs who have left us.
Dances with Wolves - filmed here. Near Bear Butte, north of us. The movie is NOT an accurate representation of the natives here and their history. Most SD's will NOT see it or rent it or buy it. Costner to my surprise, really made locals mad, he was a real jerk. He made extras (many of whom were natives and poor) wait and wait and not get paid.
He is one of THE best riding actors I have ever seen (ever see him on the paint horse in "Silverado"?), however I, unfortunately, am no longer a fan after that fiasco. The horse he rode is still here, in a town that has many momentos and actual sets and such of the movie and other parts of SD's history!
