			Not news to us! That is already true here. Our town destroyed a perfectly good small business community (and some farms) to dismantle an old, raised off-ramp and build a new one a mile east that no one uses. The truck stop there was the only one truckers could drive to without going uphill, as you may have read on my album, last snowstorm they had to park ON the Interstate as they could NOT pull UP the other off ramps. All done for Ellsworth AFB. Looooong story. Now they want to annex the bi
			Now they want to annex the big ranch that is one the hills I photograph so oftenn, and then "condemn" the land so that our bitty street two blocks away can be extended over to the regional commercial airport. Why is this STOOOPID? Because the old hiway exit was torn down becaiuse it was in the flight path of the B1 bombers. The new road would be too!
			BTW WE, Rapid City and surrpounding area, DESPERATELY need a second WalMart, especially for the food store, where food is sometimes for example, $2 a bottle less for a 1/2 gal of apple juice. HERE the wages for Wal Mart are THE SAME as any other retail store (NON UNION STATE). Wages are SINFULLY low here. So what did Rapid City do? Told Wal Mart "no" and re zoned the lot they wanted to AG! The lot is RIGHT BY the HIWAY?!!? AFTER WalMart dropped the second (I repeat DESPERATELY NEEDED) store,
			the City RE-REZONEDb that lot BACK to Comml! We WANT WALMART II! It was a perfectly good COMMERCIAL LOCATION! (Which is booming with new Lowe's etc!!!)
			WHY do we need WalMart II? People from all over the Black Hills come in to Rapid to shop, etc. Rapid City has the one and only WalMart west of the Missouri. The shelf stockers/"back room" storage CANNOT keep up with the incredible demand! Frequently when Ed goes to shop, (food or regular) they are out of what we need! They doubled the original store size already (which is in a big commercial area also, BTW), paying for the relocation of a restaurant (to a much beter location!) to do so!
			In other words, THIS COUNTRY IS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!

			WE SHOP AT WAL-MART. 75% of the merchcandise WE BUY IS MADE IN THE USA. The groceries ARE NOT DIFFERENT THAN A SAFEWAY and MUCH CHEAPER. I just bought some Catholics thing from a Catholic store, guess what? ******MADE IN CHINA****** At "Hobby Lobby" about 100% of the good are from China!
			RE Connecticut, isn't New Londaon about to lose it's (HUGE) sub abse? Housing values will plummet if so, and greedy politicians want taxes taxes taxes TAX BASE. Thye ALWAYS favor busineess over homes in that case!
		Runger	Yeah! I shop at Walmart too. My complaint was with the Supreme Court ruling that any local government can seize any property if they can get more taxes from a different business being built there.
