are they black on purpose. never heard of this befor. what do they taste like?

Joy says they taste very sweet. I dont eat raw tomatoes. A woman who we helped through hard times now is the supervisor of a tomato farm packing shed. She brings us 2 dozen eggs and some tomatos every week. Calls us Mum and Dad.
