		mdanforth	ha ha, trina. Roger,I don't think any of that family ventured very far from home, except to go to war. My generation was the first to move away (and there are times I wish I hadn't - lol)

		tomswift46	I saw your note on mdanforth and as I said that my wife's family came over in 1635. In 1851 Cornelia ann Sharp and her family left Missouri for the West Coast and she wrote a journal which is in the Oregon Historical Society(supposedly)..I've seen excerpts in a book on Pioneer Women. The Beans helped to found the U. of Oregon and U. of Washington..they were ministers,geologists,judges.....eventually engineers and now computer scientists....
