Sorry Trina. A tsunami (i dont know whether I spelt it right or not) Is one or a series of Tidal Waves. Can be caused by undersea earthquake or sometimes from extreme storms. In this case it was 1/2 mile of sea bed suddenly rising 14 feet, Displacing a huge amount of water. As it gets near land the waves combine to become a huge series of Tidal Waves.

It travels as fast or faster than a jet airliner. Even if it is only one meter, then everything under 1 meter is at its mercy. Young children and old people are the main sufferers.
